    The "easiest" way to swap a CV axle on our trucks is undo the two bolts on the LBJ adapter and swing the knuckle to get the CV out of the hub. Can't do this on the Fabtech knuckle because the LBJ attaches directly to the lower ball joint/control arm. I had a hell of a time trying to get mine undone without destroying the boot. Ended up just going from the top. Made the whole process a lot longer and on the trail it'd be a pain.

    the lower ball joints are on the LCA, either way they suck to change and require a press.
