A bit OT, but since this will require a hitch lock in full-time ... has anyone got a recco of one that will last while always mounted? I've never found one that doesn't start rusting almost immediately.

I've got output pics of all of them, and they will be available soon. I just didn't post them all up yet. I still will be running the wide cornering on my personal rig, but I will say that I was impressed with the work/scene when looking at things heads up/objectively last night.

What all of this brought to light in a big way is that I need upgraded tail light bulbs!

I'm sure I can handle waiting for the pics, but what is the main difference between the wide cornering and the work/scene lights?

The wide cornering is a little cleaner and flatter of a pattern. It provides a little more distance as well. The work/scene is a full on shotgun blast of light.

Baja Designs Website: Wide Cornering: BD was the first to develop a pattern specifically for cornering, dust and/or fog conditions. The Wide Driving pattern offers a 42° flattened horizontal beam for the ultimate in comfort lighting. (Lighting Zones 1 & 2)

Spot: A longer and narrower 9° beam focus for illumination further down the trail or road. The Spot pattern is designed to be used in conjunction with additional Wide Driving and/or Driving/Combo beam lights. (Lighting Zone 4 & 5)

Work/Scene: Excellent work light or “scene light” with an extremely smooth circle that projects about 40ft. This pattern is not suitable for driving. (Lighting Zone 7)

Awesome, thanks guys! I'll most likely go with the wide cornering option.

Which light pattern looks best on the

For a reverse light, generally a scene (flood) in white would be best. However in the pictures it does look like the scene might risk over exposing the reverse camera image immediately behind the truck.

These photos were NOT taken with fixed camera settings... The gf snapped it with her camera app. It exposed for the hot spot of light, and isn't realistic. Hence the reason I didn't share them. Gonna have to redo that someday. However, here's one of them for you. Work/Scene here.

One thing I found interesting was how much of the color was stolen from the yellow light when displayed through the screen!

I'm almost a full grown man... I do what I want!

And it's technically "next" week :p

I have pricing, but dragging feet on releasing it. Putting my product listing on the site now so you never know... Might make it!
