Actually, I wonder if there is an even simpler way. Drill two small holes in your hitch where the holes in the hitch pod are to secure the light, hit them with rustoleum paint, get 2 tamper-resistant screws the same size as comes with the B Designs light, and screw it in. Done and secure.

Something like this in high-quality stainless.

The only 'hard part' I can see is precisely locating the spot to drill from the outside.

I ordered a stainless locking pin from BulletProof Hitches. They seem legit and offer some discounts for military, first responders, etc. I can let you know about it when it gets here if you’d like.

Meso definitely sold them, it looked like he sold out faster though.

MESO and my stock are shared on the combos. However I will allow an oversell whereas he won’t since I am the S1 source. Any combo purchased on his site will be fulfilled by me (HitchPod and S1 together)

Xpel PPF and ceramic tint; DD SS3 Pro fogs; Hitch pod reverse light; Meso Customs dual color dome light; Gas hole; Lomax tonneau cover.
I like the solutions discussed here but being able to quickly remove the hitch pod and S1 when you need the hitch for something else is appealing.

Friendly PSA, Be careful with those scotch lock wrap around the wire, wire taps. One of my wires ended up cut through (red wire), had to de-pin and resolder.

Got this one as well. Looks like it'll be perfect. No salt here in dusty Oklahoma but there are plenty of Salt Life stickers!!

Just got mine. Time to remove the crappy connector and switch it to a deutsch connector and wire it up as a chase light to my Switch-Pros.

Man wish I got mine already, mine just got picked up today by ups and I ordered it on the day they were released right when they went live. I’m only north of you about 45 min. Oh well guess I’ll get it next week sometime since this storm has rolled in. Looks good though and I can’t wait.

I’m waiting on my other combo and harness from @memario1214. I got the S1 from my brother in law for Christmas, so I’ve had it sitting around, and the HitchPod I just got from @MESO today. The harness I may have ordered earlier than anyone else, Order #1490, so you’re doing fine.

Gotcha, yeah I ordered the whole kit as well. It’s only coming from Montana, but the mountain passes are getting hammered. So the trucking industry is moving kind of slow because of this, I know cause I’m a truck driver. But we’ve waited this long, another few days isn’t gonna kill us. Lol

I saw that picture of yours installed and my brain blew up for a second... I was like I either forgot to put the harness in the box, or I'm losing it altogether since I just got things out over the past couple of days.
I know I know! I was actually away when they launched, and was travelling back Wednesday. Spent all day yesterday getting everything packaged up and labelled, and then ran out of time on the tail end of the day before UPS cutoff time. Finished up everything today.

If someone ordered and doesn't have tracking info now please let me know. I don't think I was short S1s or HitchPods for anyone on this initial blast.

    I need Indeed

Very straight forward! The only surprise was that I needed to drill out to 11/16” on my step bit to get my locking pin through.

No worries, we both ordered the whole kits from you and like he said he just got the pod from Meso. I understand the whole packing stuff up and shipping when you are doing it by yourself. Just glad to able to get the whole setup. Looking forward to getting it.

Did you use the M5 button head hardware that came with the S1? Mine doesn’t sit flush with the pod, and it’s stopping it from sitting flush in the hitch.
