No. The work/scene light would throw too much light upward. The wide cornering will be better at putting light down where you want it. The design of the wide cornering will still send a little light upwards so you wont be punished at all with that pattern.

Can these lights be "flashed"? Some LEDs have issues with using the flash mode on the switch pro, almost like they cant match the flash frequency. If so I'd get an Amber just to flash for side of the road emergencies

In, would love this for my morning commute to flash the idiot lemming drivers who tailgate me for miles.

Red S1 on a flash module for brake light would be REALLLLY annoying at night for people behind you.

The switch pro flash is a 3 like a round burst with a pause in-between. Mine would be Amber and used only on the side of busy roads / emergencies. I have 4 brake lights already. I think I'm covered there haha.

I do use my hitch, but if it was an easy plug and play 4th brake light. That would be cool. But for more people to use it, you really need to be able unplug it when you need your hitch.

I’m all for visibility and safety. But IMO a S1 directly pointed Back at eye level WITH a strobe would be epilepsy inducing lol

I have a better idea that I've been thinking about for a while, to solve the same problem. Get a Cali Raised 32" lightbar in the "spot" beam configuration, and instead of mounting it in the hidden spot under the grill, mount it on the top of the bed, right behind the back window facing backwards. It would fit perfectly there.

I did do this. But I really use it for checking camp out spot in the woods.

I should clarify. I meant turn the light on for a few seconds when someone is tailgating. I have no interest in a flasher that will turn on when braking. Would use this for camping and dirt bike trips etc.

I think it’ll be a couple weeks. If you check his comment history he mentioned it in the Total Taillight thread. I’m sure he’ll give us an update soon.

    While we wait....another option.

A Rigid Ignite fits perfectly and takes all of 15 minutes to flush mount and tap into the tow harness. Plus no one is going to steal it and you keep your hitch functional.

:spy: I may or may not have one of these on hand for testing.
