Call it a collaboration project. He may stock them on his site, he may not. I’ll be the primary caretaker of them though! And of course be the LOOMENZ provider

He’s the one with the tools and computer expertise to actually bring a piece like this to life.

What specific computer skills are needed on this one? Packaging? Marketing?

For the product itself isn’t it just a 3D printed or injection molded plastic part and a potential harness? What else is involved?

I’m doing the design,R&D and production of the pods. Maybe sell just the raw housing. But Memario will be offering them into a package deal with the Baja lights and harnesses, ready to go as a bundle:D

Nothing else. He just has the skills and equipment to manufacture the part itself. I don’t. And he’s got little interest in dealing with the light sales and inventory, I do! It’s a mutual convenience move - no wizardry here. And of course he’s got more marketing firepower than I do which helps. He has the potential to sell these standalone, but I don’t plan on doing so. Everything would be a combination which would allow folks to save on the S1 and the bracket simultaneously.
Actually an awesome idea. Growing up out in the sticks I know exactly what you’re talking about, and the frustration I felt when someone pulled thru and didn’t put it in reverse!

I’d like a plug-n-play harness. That’s what I’ve liked so much about MESO’s products... super easy to install while making my truck more functional and/or aesthetically pleasing. I’m willing to pay extra for the harness. I’m not sure I’d buy this without plug-n-play... I don’t have much confidence in my wiring abilities.

I’m not worried about the hitch pin. I can get a locking pin locally or something.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Thanks for working on this!

We are getting there! Due to the demand I decided on injection molding these (VS 3D printing) so it’s getting tooled up now.:D

If you're already tapping a harness back there, maybe an option for the licence plate light cut while in reverse?

Plug and play is where it's at!

Some final tweaks to the mold. Final fitment and testing should be over the next week here

Working on plug-and-play options as well! They won’t be here at launch though :(
Probably a month or so later

Almost there. Molds are finished and I got the first sample out. There’s a few minor adjustments, as well as dialing in the surface finish, but overall I’m stoked.
The holes will be predrilled for the light mounting bolts, however I am going to leave it up to the end user to drill the through pin hole.
Reason why; after testing multiple vehicles, they ALL had different pin depths. For a standard trailer hitch that doesn’t matter. But this had to shoulder off the back and sit perfect with no movement. So the best way is for the end user to drop it in, push it flush then just mark the 2 holes on each side. Pull it out and drill the 2 holes. That way it’s 100% with no play.
