Dropped Key Fob between tailgate and bed

I was testing out my new tonneau cover and accidentally dropped my key fob in between my tailgate and my bed but unfortunately not on the part where it would slide onto the floor below the truck. Anyone experience this or have any idea what I should do? I went under the truck and couldn’t find any way to access the area with the key.

 

Start by removing the tail gate for a better look.

 

Tailgate and the bed, can we see a picture?
Can you see it?
If so magnet or wire hanger.
if not try shaking the truck maybe it falls loose. They sell little flexible wire cameras for like $20 you can stick one in there and look around.

 

Is your tailgate locked at the moment? Can you grab a spare key to open it? There's a crevice space between the tail gate and the bed. Maybe check behind the bumper to see if it's resting somewhere behind the bumper?

 

Likely, with another person, you can pull the tailgate out of position and get the FOB.
