Dropped transmission

    2001 3.4 v6 Tacoma prerunner
    Does anybody know if I can start my 2001 Tacoma without my transmission. I dropped the transmission to get to the rear main seal to see where exactly it’s leaking from but since there is a computer telling the truck to not start because it can’t tell if its in park because there is no transmission.

    You'd have to plug the park neutral switch back in.
