So I recently moved to Italy. My insurance has jumped up to 70 dollars being out here on full coverage. Taking my insurance bill to 190. I own the title and I currently don't have any armor on my truck. But since the recent bill spike I'm thinking about getting some armor installed and dropping my insurance to liability which will take me down to 45 dollars total. I'd figure the crazy Italian drivers will back off after seeing the armor. But I'm still a little worried about not having full coverage on a $14k truck. What do y'all think? Would you make the switch?

I'd shop carriers and coverage levels first, looking for a better deal.

Armor isn't part of the plan as it can help with bumps and bruises, but make damage worse by not being absorbent.

As far as other drivers 'backing off' the part you are considering dropping has nothing to do with them. It protects you from you.
