Hello #1 subscriber lol. I would not take this on alone. I have an excellent navigator co-piolt buddy who always wheels with me. This will definitely be our greatest largest mission yet. I was ask to do this by another friend a couple years ago and I told him he was crazy and most likely not ready for what this run would dish out. But look at us now we are going for it. So it will be a 2 truck team and we will be pulling each other out of the muck, poof dust.

Care to share experience vs expectations? What was hard? Challenges? Overall, would you do it again? If so, what would you do the same or different?

    It looks fucking rad!

This was a vacation but it was hard work every day just to get us to the next check point before it was dark. Get up at the crack of dawn get everything together and start driving. I will be breaking down more as the days pass here. Would I do it again IDK at this point. I have many amazing storys with wins and fails. This was a lifetime experience. I could not have done it without my navigator .

yeah man would love to hear more!! Seems like a Baja 1000 experience that is feasible for normal enthusiasts.

Real coilovers and smoothies seem like a must which is no surprise

The shock breakage on our other truck - no spacers

As for my truck in the background she is going to sit for a bit while I digest what I have actually done to her and what her needs are.

well let me tell you that having skids on filled with mud will bake your transmission- no light ever came on! but she got cooked. removed skids and 200 lbs of adobe mud brick scraped off more mud from trans pan , put some new fluid in and got a few hundred more miles out of her once she got hot if we stopped that was it until it completely cooled. the trans fluid that came out looked like 20,000 mile oil chage oil- black and burnt
