See if it will run into a brick wall, or does it have to be car shaped?

    And video it, please....

I found the camera and cleaned around the windshield. I cant find the sensor behind the grill area though.

I just opened the hood to try and clean that area, but dont know where exactly i should be cleaning.

    Thank you

well i guess i am really old fashion. i use the brakes to stop my vehicles. i would never expect anything like TSS to stop my truck for unless i was having a stroke or dead. I could care less about a video on a electric toyota stopping.

    am i just old fashion

My adaptive cruise control will only slow to a certain speed before it turns cruise control and subsequently any braking off. It happens somewhere around 30mph.

there are thousands of collisions a day. It's a win if this technology puts any kind of dent into that.

You can't use empty boxes. I suggest putting your hopes and dreams in the boxes, that way your truck won't try to kill them as they are already dead.

    Or maybe that's just me.

    No.
I’m in my 20’s and prefer actually driving my vehicle myself rather than a computer.

I think a lot of these computer safety features, like adaptive cruise control, actually increase the likelyhood of accidents.

I actually enjoy new technology. The issue here is that with these new features we lessen the propitiation traditionally offered to Darwin. Without this, you are begging for a whole Idiocracy. We may have already elected Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho.

I just read through 12 pages of junk in anticipation of a video and although I'm slightly amused I'm irritated there was never a video and that I'm still unsure whether the 2018+ Tacoma auto-brakes.

I'm pretty sure my manual on my '18 says that it will alert the driver to apply brakes and TSS will help braking in that scenario. TSS MAY apply brakes if collision is imminent and driver does not press brakes.

It has auto breaks in both adaptive cruise and during collision avoidance.
