Yeah....my point exactly. Truck got flooded insurance paid the end. Nothing here except people hating on the OP cause he actually has a 4x4 and goes somewhere beside the beach or the mall.

I presume this is angled at me... I'm not hating on the OP for wheeling his rig, but the offroad community has an obligation to treat these places with respect. There is a big difference between crossing a stream at low water at a designated crossing and driving straight into a river and floating your truck downstream until it stops. Especially when dealing with a river that holds protected species. It's a stupid and short sighted thing to do, point blank. There are a lot places where this would land you in jail. Just because you don't care doesn't mean it's a fabricated concern or "hating." If you want to swamp your rig there are literally thousands of places you can go mudding that aren't moving water ecosystems.

That is a designated crossing as far as they go on the Carson. And lol at the trout comment. Trucks aren't the worry, the stockers they endlessly dump in there are.

To be fair... (and this is the last retaliation post I'll make because even though some don't think it, I am pretty mature) one; I didn't do it on purpose obviously. Two, the spot I crossed is an actual road that goes through the river and is an authorized crossing spot. Three, I have crossed at that spot many times before. Four, hundreds of people cross at that spot every year. Five, I respect nature and would never do something to hurt it on purpose. Six, I owned up to it and didn't blame anything or anyone. Seven, I got it out of the river as fast as I could.

Again, sorry to everyone offended by this. It was a mistake that was unintentional. Y'all keep on keeping it classy and getting out of the house and doing fun stuff! It's what life is all about

No, if he cared at all about the fish, he would have cast a line out while waiting and maybe caught one or two and grilled them up river bank style. :D

take this for what its worth (im a little bit of a redneck). i think if i were in your position, i would figure out which pin on the FP relay plug was the output power to the pump. unplug the relay and shoot some juice to it while cranking to see if i get anything.

edit: and if the fuel lines/rail havent been cleared of water yet, i would probably disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail before doing this.

edit 2: after the first few pages i skipped to the last before posting the first time. now ive gone back and read some more. ignore the clowns @Maricich_d!
