Well.. That's one less 2nd Gen owner to ask stupid questions. It's like Darwinism, except with vehicles. The vehicle gene pool shall cleanse itself.

 

I love the 2nd Gen forum. The laugh to post factor is high. Very high.

Last time I was there was alone with just three others on spring break for three days in the 80’s, no other people except a few boaters drifting by. It looks like Disneyland now. Sort of like where this thread has gone, too. Sorry OP.

edit: I've been following this thread (intermittently) from the start and am genuinely interested in the "final outcome", whatever it was.

 

I did promise! It was posted at some point in the thread but might have been removed. Long story short I didn't get a chance to finish getting it running. Some blah blah blah stuff with going back and forth with insurance on the status of the title I was over it and let them take it. Sorry to let everyone down on the thread that actually tried to help. I'm sure I would have been able to get it going with all the help from you guys but the best move was to take the claim and move on. I was able to pick up a new truck and I promise it won't turn into a boat lol. I'm back out exploring and doing what we all love. Thanks for the good laughs and support with the advice.

For those of you wondering how it played out.. here’s his new Taco. Much cleaner than his original. He added adjustable Fox Shocks with remote reservoirs all around, Total Chaos uca’s, Relentless bed bars, and an overland tent. Pretty sweet set up.

 

What about a snorkel?
