I did back them off a little bit, the cylinders look good. I'm going to make a trip back to the auto parts store, these drums are not true.

Took them back today and got a new pair of drums, no questions asked. That was the problem, they work great. Thanks for everyone's help!

Went to oreilys and got some of their drums and shoes. I had such a horrible vibration that I took them off and placed the old ones back on. I buy OEM only for my truck. What I am replacing these days has lasted a loooong time. No reason not to for a few bucks.

Good point. If I factor in my time and the trip back to Autozone to exchange them, I should have bought one, this wouldn't have happened.

I wonder if there might be a rotor issue also. When on the road by yourself meaning no one behind you, rotate and keep the handle rotated so that you can release it then pull the parking brake slowly and see if the chatter is rears only.

Here we go again, still have a little chatter and I'm thinking it might be the pads. I'm wondering if I should have exchanged them when I swapped out the drums.

Well I picked up new drums and shoes at NAPA. No issues at all. I will bring the other ones back to Autozone and never go back. I can't believe that two sets of drums were out of round.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Ive seen that drums like to be out of round if the balance weights are welded on the outside of the drum instead of the face.. i usually avoid drums with the weight on the outside due to this.

    Follow up-

Went to NAPA, bought new drums and shoes. Installed and adjusted just like I did with the 2 sets of duralast products from Autozone. They work perfectly!! Brought back the others to Autozone and got my refund. Lesson learned. The manager at Autozone did not even want to know what the issues were, they could care less.

I can choose from centric to Bosch
    Ac Delco
    Power stop

Is it just me not understanding the price ? On rock auto it says one UNIT is enough for two wheels

Thus prices are from $13-$29 total

I have no problems ordering Oem if you guys recommend

I use only OEM linings and have had great luck with Brembo rotors and drums. Trying to save a few bucks just isn't worth it sometimes IMHO. As the OP will probably attest.

There is a forum member here named gunny1005 at Camelback Toyota. His name is Gary. He will get you good prices on OEM parts.
