Drum brakes ?

    Conclusion that I most likely didn’t grease the contact points. What brake caliper grease do y’all use? Something maybe alternative to oem?

    Typically that means they are wildly out of adjustment as well.

    Tiny tab of grease on the 6 contact points, just lift the shoes up.

    Buy/use same stuff as fronts (high temp brake grease) and you are set for greasing front slides too. But any will work back there sparingly/lightly.
    Don't forget to free up and grease the parking brake shoe lower pivot post as they rust/freeze up over time.
