While removing the wheel the weight fell off of the driver's drum face. Can I weld this back on after cleaning the rust off? Is this a good way to fix this?

I dont see why not if you have the equipment. Taking it to a shop may cost as much as getting a new one.

My tundra brake drum weights fell off also. Had a buddy spot weld them back with his mig. Just be sure you put them back in the same spot they came off.

I have a mig just wasn't sure it would weld being cast iron. There is a small divit showing where it was so I can get it back to the exact spot.

It’s worth a shot. It will either stick or it won’t. If not, you’re not in any worse shape. Just buy a new drum.

I personally don’t mind running aftermarket drums and rotors. So going OEM and spending a lot isn’t something that I worry about.

JB Weld if you think the drums are worth hanging on to

The welds wouldn't stick so I used in, waiting for it to dry. I'll see if it holds. Thanks
