(I looked through the forums to see if this post/thread was a no-no or something, but I couldn't find anything. So I apologize in advance to the mods if I shouldn't have done this, and to please delete this thread if this is the case!)

As the header says, I'm trying to drum up renewed interest in Relentless Fabrication's 05+ tailgate reinforcement in TW's GB forum. I've PM'd all the folks in the group buy thread who missed the end of the last GB this past April (I stumbled upon these forums in June after ruining my tailgate; timing is everything, yeah), and we're hoping to get a minimum of at least 12 to get 20% off for everyone who orders. More interest, more discount!

Please take a look and sign your handle to the list if interested! Thanks for looking, and now back to your regularly scheduled program.

I've got to give my recommendation on this. Relentless makes an awesome product. Regrettably, I got mine here before I saw his product and had to mod it to fit.

Wonder how hard it is to get the factory cover back over it, because it looks like ass without it

the large cover fits right over if you knock 2 plastic pins off the back of it(as seen in the second photo in the linked thread). Also these will not be diamond plate, only smooth metal

Do you guys use a brake for your bends, or something more heavy duty?

These are formed at a separate shop near us, they use a 320 ton cnc hydraulic press brake

That's what I figured. I have a manual brake, but I never used it for more than flashing.

Yeah, bit too thick for a manual brake. Needs to be hydraulic but theirs is certainly overkill as well. Lol.

yes, full cover/reinforcement. Covers the whole flat part of the tailgate, and wraps over the top for extra strength/protection. CNC cut and formed, should install in about 10 minutes time with the correct size torx bit/wrench.

Put me on the list. I'm undecided about the steel vs. aluminum.... don't know how strong the aluminum is.

Definitely interested in an aluminum one, will join the list if it's possible to import to the great white north :D

Edit: holding pattern, I can see why it's cost prohibitive to ship up here

Hi again guys - I'm bumping this up again, because the above people have expressed interest in the GB here on this thread, but have not gone to the GB thread to put their names on the list for themselves (please be sure to go to the last page to copy/paste the list and add your own name. The thread is up to 9 pages at the time of this writing). Although I'd love to, I'm not comfortable doing that for you, and I'm not sure that's part of the rules of this thing.

If I add the two of you above, we're up to 9 people! Only 3 more to get us the 20% discount!!!!! :D
