Dry hands

My nephew is an Algebra teacher and by handling lots of paper throughout the day, his hands become extremely dry and cracked. He has tried O'keefes hand lotion and it helps somewhat. What do you guys use?

 

Sub'd because my hands are literally bleeding right now.

 

o'keefe and PLENTY of it

 

I bought him a little trial size bottle at Lowe's. Can't remember the brand but it was a little better than O'keefes.

 

The best thing to do is apply liberal amounts of lotion at bedtime and put on some cotton gloves.

The skin softens overnight, and the application throughout the day is that much more effective.

If they're cracked and bleeding already, you ought to consider that method. Works on feet also.

 

If his skin is super dry lotion won't cut it. Try some type of creme. Eucerin cream works much better than Eucerin lotion IMO.

 

Eucerin is pretty good.

 

My dad has always had dry hands and the thing that works best for him is bag balm. The stuff for cow udders.
