What do you mean? Not long enough. the difference between the 10" and 12" is 6" ext and 4" collapsed which is quite a bit. I think I also got the wrong ones.

Look again. I could care less about length right now. Shock bodies and resevoirs on the bottom, ready to get hit by the first large rock.

Yes, but you don't have the additional reservoirs taking up space. I went with the guy on the phones suggestion, not realizing what I put myself into. First time buying a fancy suspension, go figure. He did warn me...it just didn't click, and he was suggesting these because I was only getting a 1.5" pack for the rear.

I havent installed my rear yet, but DSMS included a set of mounts for the resi's instead of piggy backing them on the shock it's self. Should work better, avoid the problem you are talking about

The lines are solid 90 tubing off the shock body. No other option without breaking the shock apart.

Just wondering but isn't this upside down? Or was there a particular reason you mounted them this way?

Problem solved. Thanks Marco. These shocks are going back. You can't beat a company like DSM. Shops like this are hard to find.

    Soooo......

What did he say? Are yours different than the ones in this package? Once again, I haven't installed mine yet, but as I said before, they came with mounting brackets to avoid piggy backing them, which makes it sound like yours are inverted from how mine are.

The package comes with whatever 2.0 shocks you need for the back, based on your lift size... at least thats the way I understand it. These shocks are OE replacement. You got a different set. To anyone looking at buying this kit with these shocks, you would be fine if you never picture yourself ever being in the woods, crawling around rocks. Its not like they function any different. Getting these rear shocks was mostly my error. He did tell me, it just didn't click, and I didn't realize that there would be clearance issues. (I actually had to bend the ebrake cable bracket to allow enough clearance for the passenger side shock.)

    Yes

Ho, you're gonna put these on an Oahu rig? Is there a place to let the suspension really reach full potential? Kaena Point?
