    Sealed batteries are sealed shut, no water to top off and you can pretty much mount it anywhere or anyway, because it wont leak acid everywhere.

    What method did you use or is the best to extend the factory cables? A spice, or can i crimp a eye onto the new cable and then connect them that way? I just want to make sure i get a connection that will allow enough current to flow through it.

    here is what i did.. anthony might have done some or of the same idea, who knows.


    i used #0 gauge ground wire for a welder (25ft) that i bought from a welding store new and extended the positive wires off the motor back to the battery with the new wire, then from there i grounded the battery at the frame right below (in bed of my truck). then the ground wire from the motor i just grounded to the wheel well.


    never have had any problems since.
