    Awesome truck DTFtacoma! I am planning to box my frame similar to how you did it. Did you use 3/16" plate? And did you box any other part of frame beside the rear (like underneath the cab or anything)?

    Dont use anything over 1/8" (10Ga) its just extra weight at that point. I plated all the way to the carrier bearing cross member
