    Pelfreybilt, Warn, BAMF, DTRL toggle on/off, FJ OEM Fog/Aux Light switches, 2012 lower center console swap, wired in auto-dimming rear view mirror, Wet-Okole inside, Weathertech , Rigid, Tint, Roto-Pax, Bestop, OME, Extended SS brake lines, TRD TX Pro/Baja Graphite 16" Rims
    So I was up till 12:30am last night probably pissing off neighbors trying to clean up my switches and thought about it more this morning after not getting anywhere.

    So I have the 5 pin (fj roof light) and 6 pin (fj fog light) which both have the extra light to signal that the switch is on/off

    for using the 6pin, i've found;
    from top to bottom;

    Pin 1: Illumination Power for "Lights On" indicator light
    Pin 2: Ground for Illumination circuit
    Pin 3: Switch Power (taken from Marker Lamp Tap)
    Pin 4: Line Out to Relay
    Pin 5: Ground for Backlit Illumination Circuit
    Pin 6: Illumination Power for Backlight

    I currently have my dtrl on the oem 4-pin fog light switch as;

    pin 1: other tap from dtrl signal
    pin 2: tap into dtrl signal
    pin 3: ground(for backlight)
    pin 4: illumination backlight power

    so when I press it in, pin 1 and pin 2 close the dtrl circuit and they function as normal.

    to change it over to the 5-pin or 6-pin, I would need to add a relay to the wires I used to intercept the dtrl signal?

    using as an example;

    so the pin out would be modified to pin 4(6-pin setup) being the dtrl on/off toggle relay and
    pin 1 would tap into pin 4,
    pin 3 would tap into ignition power circuit(12v source),
    pin 2 ground

    am I making any sense?

    I'm also trying to figure out how the 5-pin switch is set up to be used in the same way.

    a relay similar to http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3020762
