DTRL using both filaments 4157's

    Not a bad idea. Is your picture showing a DTRL socket or a non DTRL?

    they come with the same socket.....only difference between factory DTRL and no DTRL is a relay and a harness under the dash thats it

    Large Storage Box, 02610 intermittent switch swap, "Hot Wire" Power Outlets, DRL Shut Off, Disable Fob Beep, Disable Seat Belt Buzzers, Parking Light Mod, Battery Tender, 4 Leaf Spring Pack, Rear Headrest Removal, Factory Tow Package (7 Pin) Rear Diff Mod, Taco Lean Mod, 2WD Low ECU.
    Factory DTRL do NOT have both filaments on. Only high. By switching the wires you have made a dangerous mod. your parking lights are now bright and turn signals dim. Someone from the front will not be able to tell your turning.

    Do not do this and put them back the way they were. Use the low element for your parking lights. Then your brights are for turn and hazzard. If you want them bright then install a factory DTRL system.
    when someone plows into you you'll understand why.

    Not doing this....ordered an eight pin electronic flasher for my LED's and just not having DRL's. ;)

    If your talking to me i just went out and reactivated my dtrl.
    Only one power input to the high side and no power to the low
    It definitely looks like both are lit but in my case they are not. the reflection wicked.
    took me a min before i could get the right angle (before i went blind LOL)
    So in my case it's no.........
    Or maybe i'm so tired i misunderstood the comment
