Hey guys and gals (and those that make pit stops at Target.) I know there are a few threads out there for this mod, but I did mine a little differently, so I thought I'd share.

    Tools/Supplies Needed
    1. Wire cutter/stripper
    2. Wire
    3. Electrical tape
    4. Bullet Connectors (optional)

I used the only wire I had laying around, and it was a little thick. That's the only reason I used the bullet connectors. Otherwise, the bulb plug that receives 2 wires would not have fit.

    Step 1
Start with the right turn signal plug. You may have a rubber piece in the small 3rd hole, just remove that. Strip one end of wire and stick it into that hole.

    Step 2 (a)
Now run that wire to the left turn signal plug. If you have small wire, move to Step 2 (b). Now cut a second section of wire long enough to go from your fuse box (the one under the hood) to your left turn signal. Strip both ends. Take one end and twist it together with the end of the wire that is coming from the right turn signal. Place both of those into the back end of a female bullet connector. Crimp.

    Step 2 (b)
If you had thick wire, skip to Step 3. Now run that wire to the left turn signal plug. Now cut a second section of wire long enough to go from your fuse box (the one under the hood) to your left turn signal. Strip both ends. Take one end and twist it together with the end of the wire that is coming form the right turn signal. Now stick these two wires into the third hole of the left turn signal plug.

    Step 3
If you have thin wire, go to Step 4. Now cut a short piece of wire and strip both ends. Stick one end into the third hole of the left turn signal plug. Place the other end into a Male Bullet Connector. Crimp. Now plug the male end of the BC into the female end BC.

    Step 4
Now go to the fuse box and choose a fuse that is only active when the ignition switch is turned on. I chose the 10a A/C fuse. Remove that fuse and place the remaining wire in. Replace fuse.

    Step 5
Tape all of your wire connections to finish up. Congratulations, you're finished!

If you chose the A/C fuse like I did, the DTRL's will only run if you have the A/C or Heat turned on. Mine is always on, so that's not a problem for me. You cannot connect to the "Signal/Hazzard" fuse. If you do, your lights will remain on, even after you remove the keys.

With this setup, your DTRL's will work by themselves AND remain on when you turn your headlights on. Your turn signals and hazards remain unchanged.IMG_1358.jpg
