Well i have been getting parts here and there for this mod! The time has finally come and now i have time and money to get the final parts for my set up installed.
    Items used
    1. interstate battery marine\R.V. group size 4D Its a monster!! http://www.interstatebatteries.com/p/SRM-4D
    2. Custom built in and welded permanent under bed battery platform to this battery size.
    3. stinger professional battery high current Isolator. It Loops 2 batteries to one alternator\charging system but only discharges my big battery bank and not the truck battery.
    http://stingerelectronics.com/catalog/power/SGP32
    4. tons 25ft of cable 35 feet of wire loom and like 30 but connectors 3 feet of shrink and like 14 hours of work. I helped at my buddies electrical shop. Took 4 hours to build the custom wiring harness for the system.
    5. a 200 amp inline fuse with a mini breaker inline to the charge in line
    6. An Aimes modified sine wave dc\ac power invert-er at 3000 watts and 6000 watts peak delivery. All the outlets are GfI certified with mini trip breakers on each so no fires or short circuit can happen.
    7. 2' of rubber hosing to guard against wiring from chaffing. Routed up through the passenger lower rear under panel.
Total time with 1 led light bar relay installation added 15Hrs!!
    Total costs $1509.00

    Custom battery holder\frame brace lol!

Under cab hole and rubber hose with wiring. Silicone selead for weather concerns and system integrity due to chaffing of wiring.
The entire wiring harness loomed and ring end butts on all ends.
Wiring for the isolation system on left side of fire wall to battery side. Entire harness loomed and ring end connectors and shrink!

Nice setup, had to relocate the spare? Maybe put a piece of conveyor belt or a mudflap over the top of the 'house' battery as an additional layer of grounding protection. How far down does the 'house' battery hang than the spare used to?

The battery is the exact same spot and dimensions as the spare tire would have been. I wanted the rear frame weld together as a brace also and this worked exceedingly well.

    Nice!

What's your thoughts about upgrading the alternator to a higher amperage one or are you planning on just using the large battery as your only source?

wow slow response on my part. I went with a solar backup\supplement to charge the system. So far the oem alternator is working fine with the isolation set up i have running now
