The only problem is that I did a modification under/behind the steering column that disables the DRL's. The DRL's only come on when I turn the turn signal stem on column to the first position or the next when obviously headlights are on. The post that showed me how to do this - I cannot find it on the forums. Sorry!!

I recently made a video that shows you my setup. Let me know what you think. I can try to answer questions.....

What setup did you do to get the DRl's to switch from white to amber? I have 3157 LED switchbacks...but keep blowing fuses.

It probably depends on the LED switchbacks you have. I list where mine came from and how they work.
You would probably have to really understand the post of what I've done mod. wise to get my setup.
The only thing I can't describe is the way I disable the DRL's as I cannot find the post to do that as it was on this
website at one time a couple years ago.

Yeah, definitely on that! I think we need to start with a CK bulb...I tested the circuit on the plug and it seems to be a CK plug.

You definitely need a 3157CK bulb or you will continue to blow fuses. When i bought my V3 triton switchbacks it said to make sure you select the ck bulb or you will encounter this issue

Ok I am a little confused on what to do to get my new led 3157 switchback bulbs going on my front signal lights. Its a 2007 and i noticed there are only two wires on the signal/drl harness. I assume one wire is low and the other is high, but where is the gound? Im trying to figure out where i would install the resistor for the hyperflashing if both wires are hot? Also i accidentally bought 3157 standard bulb led, which i read on a thread that it can easily be fixed. Is thus true? How would i be able to get these bulbs so that the white on the led would be on for my drl and would turn off when i use the signal light and the amber on the led would turn when signal light is used. Dont want to burn the truck down, i still owe on it!! Lol

The correct bulb for the front DTRL/Blinkers is a 3157Ck. Ive read that if you use a 3157, that youll blow fuses on fuses.. The only difference between the sockets is where the prongs are I believe. As far as the wires for the blinkers go, the colored wire is typically your positive (mine was light blue on one side and I believe yellow on the other side in my '09), and the white with black stripe is your return/negative. If you are installing resistors, you will need to cut and splice into both the positive and the negative wires and then reconnect the circuit to the socket. Below is a pic of a similar 2 wire socket with resistors wired up. Note** when mounting your resistors make sure you attach them to metal somewhere as they get really hot. Also, just a tip, load resistors don't have a certain direction they have to be wired up, they should work as long as the circuit is complete/closed

Edited to add: I highly recommend VLEDs for blinkers and resistors as they are completely plug and play and have no wiring involved. I got the V3 LED triton switchbacks and they also have a lifetime warranty. I recently had to claim on this warranty and I must say their customer service is great. Maybe check into these if the funds are available. Ive wired mine in, and then switch to the VLEDs. I wish I would've chosen the v3's from the beginning and never cut my wiring. Absolutely worth the extra money

Ok so I'm going to purchase the Triton VLED's. They are ck socket. I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma and I have three wires on the light socket. Questions are do I have to disable drl's using mod? Also The light switch has the ability to turn drl on and off. Was not sure what to do with this application. HELP!!! Would like for the switchbacks to be white when drl on stem is on and amber when turn signal is used. Would also like white when headlights or in the on position.
