Does anyone know of a dual exhaust kit including hangers etc. that will put two pipes straight out the back of the truck from the Cat back? 2015 DC SR5 4x4. Thanks

Not wanting to change single Muffler or Cat. Just exiting pipe after the cat from a 1 into 2 and have come straight out the back of the truck. I like that look. Just tail pipe change only.

Do you just search for threads where Flowmaster is mentioned so you can talk crap about them? It sure seems like it. Gotta love the internet trolls

To get a straight exhaust out the back, you'll probably need to go to a muffler shop and have something fabricated, as any aftermarket will dump to the side because of the spare tire which you will need to remove

Hmmm, good point, thanks. I'll have to look at that. I don't want to move spare.

I just installed an MBRP cat back dual exhaust system on my new 2015 Tacoma & HATE it. Sounds like crap so I went with adding a resonator with no improvement so called my local Custom Exhaust Shop & have a Monday appointment to rip it all off and start over. Not sure if it's from going with duals or ? but VERY discouraged. Love my lift, tires, wheels & new stereo so one mistake isn't too bad.

    FWIW....

I had the Flowmaster American Thunder series (with 50 muffler) with dual exits. Sounded the best at idle, slight drone in the cab but you get used to it. My husband and I installed it (side exit) and had a local welding shop tack weld the joints together.

My main complaint.... It only lasted 4 years. It ended up rusting out and getting holes at the muffler.
I had it ripped out and put a stock OEM back on.

So - whatever you get - buy something stainless. Even my garage guy said most of the aftermarket steal kits only last 4-6 years.

I've got the TRD kit for mine and I've been happy with it. I feel a touch more punch in the pedal with it, but can't say on the MPG's yet. I would doubt it gives it any actual increase in power or MPG's though. Just my 2 cents.
