installed the glass break sensor in my 2022 tacoma. i have a camper shell on the back. aside from changing the sensitivity on the module. could i tap a 2nd sensor from the 1st sensor wiring? and wire it to the back of the camper shell. so ultimately id have the glass break sensor on the front and back of the vehicle. any info would be much appreciated. thanks!

I honestly don't know if the circuit can handle a parallel wire (I would guess that it would, but it's a guess.) Just know that you'd trip the second sensor wherever you close the tailgate after locking.

But I'm weird I guess. I find myself locking the truck before closing the tailgate often.

ya i really don't know enough about how sensors work... it actually takes 30 seconds after the lock is engaged for the module to kick in. and lucky for me I lock it after everything is closed to make sure I don't have any doors open
