For some reason, I see the grom(which I'm loving the white/gold theme) with you. My bad

 

A stranger I met in the middle of nowhere twisted my arm a little and had me ride his Husqvarna 701 for a bit. Same engine as that 690 if I remember right.

That thing was so much fun, especially after riding my adventure packed KLR for so long. Took me the first 3 gears to finally set the front wheel down and then at least a week to wipe the smile off my face

Africa twins are freaking great. I saw several people in Alaska on OG africa twins - 2 Germans that had started in key west, and a Japanese couple that I never did find, but their license plates were pretty obvious. Someone said one of the Japanese ones had over half a million km on it, possibly on the original clutch.

I've had a bunch of DS bikes.
Latest build, took it to Moab for 2 weeks and had a blast.
Few mods for more power, pulls wheelies at 75 mph.

Oh, nap pictures. I have a picture of the AT snoozing. Fortunate to get out of the creek as the bank was steeper than I recognized from the other side of the creek. Recrossing back a little later was no drama.
