    The leds are different circuit paths(same supply but different ground so there’s no voltage drop to the relays due to the leds) and it’s the ground path that causes dimming in the dash circuit of our trucks. Relays trigger with only ~100 mA and the leds only use a small fraction of that so unless your powering a shit ton of switches just about any circuit in the truck can supply the necessary current. I provided a separate supply because it’s a good practice but it’s not absolutely necessary, one for always hot accessories and another for ignition hot accessories. Being separate allows me to either add to, repair, or modify those circuits without affecting any other parts of the truck.
