This. Just get an atlas, the parts to build a crawl box are stupid expensive now.

$2100 for a fully assembled Toyota crawler (adapters and 4.7’s are $1300 if you have a donor case) vs $4000 for an Atlas. That’s still a pretty dramatic difference in price.

How easy is it to incorporate the Atlas? I'm getting sick of waiting on Marlin to catch up on production.

An adapter for the Toyota case to the atlas, some creativity with shift linkages, a speedo adapter, fabricate a crossmember/skid, and don’t be afraid of the saw/grinder on the floorboard.

28month wait for crawler parts, vs 3 or 4 weeks for an atlas!

Just looked it up, 2300 for a 2pd and 3800 for a 4spd. Way worth it for those prices, you just can't be afraid to butcher the floor.

Or 3 or 4 days from TG.

You have to buy a trans adapter too

Go aw4 and you don’t need an adapter to bolt the atlas. Saves even more money. Still think it’s the way to go even with the extra money. If you don’t go atlas go trail gear or else you’ll spend a year on marlin.. have had my dual cases from tg for years now and I’m not kind to them with no issues or breaks...

When my duals go boom, I'm going atlas! And with the amount of $$$ I have in them with chromo parts I should have just done it. Then again I was still DD this thing at the time and was scared of hacking up floor boards, not no mo!!
