DUAL USB PHONE CHARGER INSTALL

    275/70R16 tires, gasolina or CNG fuel, Konig shox, Energy Suspension poly bushings,
    I decided to install a USB cell phone charger in my truck so that we can keep our phones going whenever we're on a road trip. I wanted to install it in the console rather than using one that plugged into the cigarette lighter. So I searched Ebay and ordered this.

    Took 8 biz days from China to Colombia.

    I removed the console from the truck, and disassembled it. Then I cut an opening for the switch.

    Installed the charger in the panel. Locked it in tight with small screws and silicone glue.

    Reassembled the console. Tapped into the cigarette lighter wiring, ran the wiring, and reinstalled the console.

    Not all that beautiful, but functional. Now the wife and I can charge both phones without wiring hanging all over the cabin.

    This was a fun afternoon project.
