Here is the design I've been scheming up for my new tire carrier..

It will fit 2 35x12.5 tires..with a plate between them to mount a jack or haul a dirt bike when jack is removed..

I will begin fabricating mine next week and anybody interested in one please send me a pm..

nice, you should do a skid plate under the 2 cross bars up to the bottom of the back bar

and im not sure if first gens are different, but you dont want to cut out that back cross bar (where the spare is held up) or the frame will flex like crazy. just keep it in mind. when we did mine we put it right up against that cross bar

Yea..i didnt have true dimensions when I drew this at the office..

The dove tail only worries me with the suspension design..

^I have read you need to be 52.5"s from the front hanger to the top mount for the rear shackle. Im not sure how you measure where the front hanger goes though

that's the majic number for us cool people... unless a 2nd gen runs the shackle over the frame and not off set to the side, i'll bet the majic number for 2nd gens is different...
