So far it's been a good choice...although, I have been searching the local classifieds for some good/cheap used 295/75's just to see if I can fit them without too much trimming

I've got 265/75/16 now and I really want full 33" rather than the ~32" I've got now

I still have a 1" gap as of now, but I intend to re-drill new mounting bolt locations on the bumper mount/crush box when I add a new front cross member to my frame. In fact just picked up the steel today, planning on pulling out the welder in the morning.

Sweet truck! Jealous of the mileage. How do you like the skids from RAT? Also, cool shell.

Thanks, super happy about the mileage too :D The skids have held up great so far, and I have come down on them pretty hard more than once. I am planning on adding a piece or two of angle iron to the transfer skid just to beef it up a bit, don't know if they need it or not but it will give me a better piece of mind.

Got quite a few things done over the past few days.

First, took the plastic liner out of the bed.
    IMG_0781_zpsa41c6eef_395c72a26fd9fa7c248aa59e83dfcba267878dfa.jpg

Then took the bed off and prepped it for some rubberized liner.
    IMG_0793_zps4baebde6_24713e35aad769d023224d6c46e7c4fcfe2548be.jpg

    Rolled on a few coats.
    IMG_0796_zpsc416a325_d70056d8178f25e041f1cddc36456a5a14bdc802.jpg

    And back to the frame.
Yanked out the spare tire carrier, cut off the upper shock mounts, removed the lowers with the axle brackets, sized up some frame plates and installed a Marlin flip kit.
    IMG_0802_zps0555a7d5_2e42ff6f3c40ff1a9aab6cb242ec1d557de999df.jpg

    Boxing the Frame.
    IMG_0808_zpse58803a8_a493569152c65380ca70a9ef48dc4b092d8cd55c.jpg

Melted some new lower shock mounts to the axle and added a rear crossmember.
    IMG_0823_zps90866e98_a4f4088c30b4e910a11120ba111c558369405432.jpg

Upper shock mounts and another crossmember.
    IMG_0819_zps2e97cc8c_79fcd4154222b35409aa645dac3edc323607aa71.jpg

A few coats of overnight paint.
    IMG_0827_zps161a55ad_2bb0685c8924df2aead1d2c2c291b99bc384f5fe.jpg

Added a Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 series. It was quite fun welding with .035 in the wind on exhaust pipe. Ugly welds but no leaks, so whatever.
    IMG_0834_zps7a9bc69b_57a3b0e8708f9bc204f8e6e455c97243ecaa4afc.jpg

All buttoned up although, I might add some new exhaust pipe later.

    More work over the weekend.

Started by taking off the front bumper to get to the end caps.
    IMG_0840_zps72d201a7_80fe2466b6524ccc0d3b4dcf1985988c69c46e0a.jpg

    Cut those weak bastards off.
    IMG_0849_zpsc405ed10_4d3988f8295ba0ddf162f1e93c4541d772cefc8e.jpg

While I had access, I added some more spot welds to these bolts,
    IMG_0850_zps33bf466f_8111be167c3fa83009f870f909576de9b4f4e7fa.jpg

and cleaned up the area for the new angle iron.
    IMG_0851_zps56043bd7_f7b9b63d49f9dbee2856dfb25505591058a76a51.jpg

Welded some high grade nuts to the back of the new metal.
    Old vs. new.
    IMG_0853_zpsa2b7baf0_36dd986686aa083393213893457ba65d928f9afc.jpg

Angle welded in and a few rosettes added on the side.
    IMG_0858_zps7b635a19_8350c837580caa527818e2600faacbeed6f5ebc2.jpg

Then welded in a new crossmember in the dark.
    IMG_0860_zpsbcdf9b4d_d1fcfcfe4e48684cb82ff5bc103ddc17830f188a.jpg

Ready for the bumper to go back on.
    IMG_0865_zps27d478ef_e0aef2ab8c0ff5d2e9bf21e9f32a347601d430ca.jpg

    But first...
The body lift that I installed a while back left a pretty big gap to the bumper.
    IMG_0838_zps94d7d3e3_fda341121e21e5aa7f49df5948b862be16e962c8.jpg

So I drilled out some new bolt locations to lift it back up.
    IMG_0869_zps07fa68db_c50856e87c3c0b94823209eea2dd0ef7a6c6d8e4.jpg
    IMG_0871_zpsf2617267_9aebf676b075c60c95d5da12c4106a45d5f1c8a3.jpg

    Voila, no more gap.

I got the seats off a local classified for $30.00 and the console off eBay for around $70.00. The seatbelts (female ends) I had to buy new, I think they were $30.00 each. It took quite a few months of searching with the elusive console taking the longest, I got super lucky and was bidding on another one when a buy it now one popped up for way cheaper.
