Dude where's my truck?!

Oh, there it is in it's natural habitat

I'm new so I just wanted to introduce myself with a picture of my truck. I recently purchase my 2017 Toyota Tacoma Sport and haven't really gotten used to it yet, but I can't wait to see what I can do with it. I live in the mountains and so far the truck has performed quite well bone stock. There are a few things I have planned to upgrade but just need info/help with, which is exactly why I'm here!

Some of my plans include beefier tires and wheels, tint, tailgate pad, LED fog lights and new grill because that chrome is hideous. Any suggestions? I could see myself offroading a bit. Thanks in advance for the warm welcome. I look forward to getting to know you guys.

Black Mountain, North Carolina! How are you hauling your MTB @honda50r I like the tailgate pads but I'm leaning toward a hitch system.

 

Word, I'm in Brevard a lot. I live just across the mountains in Knoxville

I actually don't have to haul my bikes a lot because I live on a trail system. But when I do it's normally for an extended amount of time so I have them outboard of my tent.
For short trips I just throw my bike caddycorner in the bed

If I didn't have a swingout tire carrier I would definitely have a tailgate pad, they're too easy

 

(British voice) The Tacoma spends it's time in the wild, seeking adventure and pleasure. It requires a steady diet of gasoline and motor oil. It prefers sleeping in the confines of a garage.

 

Which trail system?

 

Urban Wilderness, Baker Creek Preserve Trailhead (60+ Miles). Only driving I have to do is Windrock or Haw Ridge

+1 for tailgate pad. I've bombed up some nasty service roads with my bike in the back and It never moves. also nice being able to just toss my bike over the tailgate.

 

I definitely heard David Attenborough's voice in my head...

Yo! Hurricane creek is awesome. I went with a buddy a long time ago but unfortunately wasn't able to locate it again. I'm headed to Colorado in October from the 17th-23rd. Maybe when I get back I can get in touch with you about the meet!
