That’s the latest on the truck thus far! As I continue to add to it I will post more! The next things on the list are to add LED to my Hi’s and my Fogs, then to get a different Grille(not TRD pro) too many people run them. And eventually a lift, looking for good recommendations for a 2 inch-3 inch lift. Not really looking to spend a lot but I understand you get what you pay for. Let me know what you recommend! Hopefully there’s more post after this! See y’all soon!

I suppose you’re right. I’m about 5 miles from work and don’t do TOO much driving so I’ll be happy if I keep the miles down

That was DCH's Hassle Free price. These things are bringing good money for sure

Looks good and congrats. Keeps the mods going. More mods = more enjoyment.

You ain’t kidding. DCH is very aggressive with their pricing. It’s even worse now. I see trucks that have 40-50k on them going for 34k

I got robbed on my 2017 Access cab 5speed manual 4x4 SR with 36,000 miles. But its exactly what I wanted and a pretty rare configuration since they’re not made anymore. I paid $28,900 and drove away happy as a pig in shit.

I can agree with you there. I like my pro grille. If there was something different I liked more. I would have gotten it.

Alright so I paint matched the “TOYOTA” on the grille and I very meticulously taped up all the letters so I would make sure I wouldn’t get MGM on the rest of the grille and here’s the results… honestly it doesn’t even look paint matched IMO 003F6381-79CB-4662-AB4F-B01B53297C43.jpg

Honestly couldn’t even tell a difference from how the grille comes stock. So I ended up seeing a nice hunter green Tacoma with the grille all blacked out at the dealership today and it looked sweet… so… well… I had to.569D8B12-2F12-4740-BD50-2EE8025B076D.jpgI also moved the light bar in the bumper as close as I could to the front with just scrap steel I had laying around. Moved it forward about and inch and a half. Maybe one day I’ll buy Cali raised bumper brackets

I bought mine with the letters all blacked out. I thought about painting them MGM but I like the black better

Alright so I finally did it. Made up my mind on the Lift I wanted to get. Ended up getting a bunch of parts second hand from this site as well as FB marketplace. I ended up rebuilding all 4 shocks and a 1.5” aal from icon.(which I realize now will still need another inch or so in the rear, going to grab blocks)68F08D0E-0B4B-45B9-ABB1-C07EE1896A61.jpg

So the lift was Icon 2.5 coils and Icon RR 2.0 in the rear with Icon Aal. When I started on this venture I had thought that the front coils were a 2” lift not a 3”-3.5” so as I said I will need to get about a 1” block for the rear to get it level. Once I installed the lift, the next day I started to have issues with the clamshell bushing. So I called my dealership and ended up getting a BRAND NEW front diff for 50$ cause it was covered under warranty. Had them install a diff drop kit and sway bar relaxation kit while they were at it. Cost about 450$ or so. Once I got it back got it aligned and when I found out it was a 3 inch lift I knew that UCA were going to be an issue now. Sooooo I’ve been working a bunch of OT at work so I’m going to pick up a set of JBA UCA’s and hopefully get them installed asap.
