lately i've been considering selling my truck (long story but i blame my work schedule haha) so i was going over some details..

then it occurred to me i kinda wanna change out the automatic trans fluid and rear diff..

so i search on the forum because i wanna use redline, which i used in my manual trans taco i had in 2015.. but for some reason i find no mention of redline used in automatics.

uh, are we not using redline for the 2nd gen auto, only the manual?

I use Valvoline MaxLife in my 2nd gen auto trans. It meets the WS.

ATF buddy. Change or no change. Why would you put money into a vehicle you’re set to sell let alone look at fancy boutique brands.

a fair question, but its just the way i do things. i havent decided on selling, so until such time as i do, its biz as usual, and my usual is typically over the top. i do nothing halfway =D

i guess i didnt know about the WS stuff.. only other taco i had was bought new, and was a manual so, yeah.
