Yep, 6000 lbs. And the thing can be to 60 in 5 seconds.
I want a super charger for mine, but am almost afraid how faster it will haul.

Part of the 90l accelerator pedal recall on various different yr,makes and models included a reflash to where you can't accelerate doing braking, now it's standard on all new toyota's.This was due to the supposed accelerator sticking problem people were having.

    This.

And it has nothing to do with the traction control. The ECU overrides throttle inputs if there is brake application.

You can thank all of the bogus UA claims from a few years back for this feature

Yep. I didn't have the reflash done on my Tundra just for this reason.

My last service for the truck I was told I needed to have it done. I told them no.

I actually watched my truck the whole time to make sure a tech didn't hook up the TechStream computer to my truck.

My duramax ambulance does the same thing. If the brakes are applied and you press the gas, it will attempt to rev but will soon go back to an idle.

Ps: I traded in my 2010 sport for a 2007 off road because I didn't like a computer telling me how I can drive my vehicle in the mud. Even though you c an turn off the traction control two different ways, it still will limit to a degree.

OP don't feel bad. I'm almost 30 years old with two kids, and still like to do a turn and burn every now and then!
