Hey guys I kind of have a dumb question for you all. I am going on a trip to Las Vegas here in a couple of weeks but can't decide on weather to take the truck or my wives 2003 Outlander? Vegas is about 350 miles away from me so I know I could save on gas if we take the Outlander instead of the truck. But should I just take the truck anyways and show it off in Vegas? What do you guys think? Truck or car?

I vote take the car. Get good gas miles. It's Vegas, you have a nice truck, you don't want anything bad to happen to your Taco. (I'm not saying Vegas is a bad place). Just throwing ideas out there.

Yeah thats true. I already live in a gambling town so I won't be doing to much of that out there. At least I hope not!! Only reason I'm debating on taking the truck is because I only drive it on the weekends and when I have to go into Salt Lake City to go shopping which is about 120 miles away from me just one-way. Other then that, it just sits in the garage all lonely. Well my Jetta and street bike keep it company but thats about it.:D

don't know if you were ever in vegas before but the drivers there are retarded. Take the car, that way your truck won't get stolen or smashed up. Plus you can use the extra money saved from gas to gamble... don't forget to hit up ellis island bbq pit, I missed out but heard nothing but amazing things

Take the car. Saves miles on the truck and dollars in the tank. And, despite how comfortable our trucks are, the car will beat it on a long road trip.

Yeah I've been to Vegas and people do drive like crap out there. Well I've decided on taking the wives car and save money on gas. Just isn't worth getting the truck dinged or broken into. Truck sticks out more then the car does to punk ass thieves.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Haha, you feel like hot shit in your truck don't you? It's hard not to when people are constantly turning around to look at your truck when you go by. Keep in mind though, if you are going to be on the strip, you won't stand out amongst the rental lambo's and ferraris there.

HAaha, in Vegas!?!?! I also remembered that me and the wife are going to be driving to California hopefully within the next few months to go see my family. Haven't seen my nephew in over a year! So we will probably take the truck then since it will be parked in my old neighborhood where it won't get messed with!!! Maybe I'll see some of the "socal" Tacoma guys out and about!!! Represent my Nevada Tacoma!!!:D

You can feel like hot shit without acting like it. When i first got my truck, i'd show it to my friends and they were like....odd color....after a week they wouldn't stop commenting about how there wasn't a single thing they disliked about the truck. I went on an 1800 mile road trip with some people and everyone that was in my car was like "fuck, why did i buy a colorado" or "i never realized how nice these tacomas are!"

Haha yeah true that! Got to admit though, our trucks are pretty nice!!! About the hot shit thing, you know what I am talking about. Like those guys that drive big ass fords and dodges with an 8" lift on it. They look at your truck like its a piece of crap and that they are the king of the road. Now not all of those guys, but a lot of them though. I just hate cocky, ignorant people!!!
