Ok, So I'm trying to come up with the easiest way to get some volume out of my 2022 JBL system and wandered across another post and it gave me possibly a dumb idea. Here goes... Can I run the existing speaker wires from the front doors, rear doors and subwoofer to amplifiers that have speaker level inputs and the back to those speakers? Mind you that those have already run through the crap factory JBL amplifier. This would allow me in my mind to keep the stock head unit and all of the Entune features. Opinions? or roast me if need be...LOL

    Thanks in advance.

    Can you? Yes

    should you? Definitely not

buy the PAC AmpPro and matching harness for your year and call it a day

the AmpPro device reads the data signal from your head unit and turns it into 6 channels of clean flat output. No EQ or bass roll off or anything added. Just a good clean signal

the matching harness allows you to hook the factory speaker wire up to your new amp without cutting any of the factory wiring. Also allows you to revert back to stock should you need to.

these items will cost you about $300-350 but will save you several hours in time and cursing, as well as saving all your factory wiring

it’s as close to making a new amp plug-and-play as you can get

Well, I was hoping to do that but, I have not found one that is compatible with a 2022 Limited with the JBL system...

I do believe the 21 version still works on the 22. I just don’t think they’ve updated their literature yet. All of the other products for 21 support 22 but I might call them and ask to be sure. They people at PAC are great and are easy to get in touch with

Toyota really messed things up by changing whatever they changed but I’m glad they’re working on it. I honestly would put the project on pause until they get it working. And I know that’s not the answer anyone wants to hear lol

Yeah, I have several projects I can do until they get it worked out.
