I hope he went back and picked it up, not much makes me more angry than some douche throwing trash out their window.

lol my oem tires are still on, after logging 30k ish miles on them i decided to make another fun fishtailing run down a dirt road i thought i new very well, i was in about the third oscillation in second gear and the front end broke loose while i was pointed at a 6 ft wide tree, started dancing on the brakes and clutched out trying to get the front to hook up and it did, right before impact, just barely clipped the tree with the rim and the front corner on the drivers side, had to replace the lower control arm on that side and get the tire re-seated. just. plain. dumb.

Soooo I don't know if this counts as dumbest, but I felt pretty dumb lol. Seriously, the DAY after i got my bumper and chrome rings on the TRD beadlock rims powdercoated black and installed and everything...I was coming home from school that night, REALLY had to use the bathroom, was about 5 minutes from home and realized I was about 2 minutes away from an accident lol, So i see a Mcdonalds on the corner, I get in the turn lane, tap the brakes for a second and go around the corner.

Well, this corner was one of those ones thats like a foot and a half tall because theres a storm drain right on it...so i go flying around the corner, and suddenly feel my backend bump really hard and knock over about a foot. So I don't really think about it, fly into Mcdonalds, Sparta kicking all doors out of my way, do my business, and on the way out i think about it, annnnnd there 2 gigantic chunks out of the Rim ring. yay.

    That's my long-winded story.

there was a thread about this a while back.. wasnt there??

my story.. when ever i take my dog out to go hiking or whatever i tought him as soon as i open the garage door he can run and jump on to the bed of the truck.. He got good at it and learned pretty quickly.. It didnt matter if the truck was backed in to the drive way or not he just new where to go...

One normal day we were going hiking.. opend the door and he flew out running like normal.. THIS TIME he had a brain fart and jumped on the hood of the truck instead of the bed.. i almost fainted.. when he saw me he know exactly that he wasnt in the right place and jumped off... scratched up the hood pretty good.. Left groups of three scratches becuase of his paws..

HE now is walked to the truck and put in a kennel...

    This one is quite poetic.

I'd been meaning to fix the squeaky/creaky leaf springs in the rear for a while now as they've been somewhat annoying while sleeping in the back on camping trips. Anywho, I was driving around this past Monday testing out my new dual-battery charging system and stereo upgrade feeling mighty proud of myself for doing a bang-up job and parked in my driveway and hopped out. As I walked toward my garage, I noticed the tell-tale, squeaky leaf spring noise and thought, "WhyTF is it making that noise just sitting in the driveway?" Of course, I turn around to see it rolling backwards down the driveway into the street straight toward my neighbor's wall. I was able to sprint (big time adrenaline rush) and dive into the front foot well and hit the brake with my right hand and saved it. I got a nasty bruise on my shin and a bruised ego, but that was the worst of it. I looked around and saw that no one was around to see my screw up. I had left it in neutral, of course.

Moral of the story: Ignore all those TSB's! :p
