Damn it!! Thought I subscribed to this thread to HEAR some interesting stories since I just bought my Taco about a month ago... until today :p

Soooo... I have a PreRunner. Since I lack 4wd I figure I can still have some fun getting a little dirty in places I "know" are safe enough for me without getting stuck or anything. I was wrong. There's this big dirt-filled lot near my apartment that I have played around in before when it snowed and also hit some muddy puddles as well (This is on the flat part of the lot). Then I was exploring it a bit and noticed there was a little trail that went around the lot lining the trees. Today, I had assumed it was dry but boy I found out the hard way. Not even 15 yards in, I get stuck. Now this is right off of the road and my truck was just sitting there on a NO TRESPASSING lot  Hoping so bad that a cop wouldn't drive buy I would have got a ticket guarantee! So I tried calling a few buds to see if they could help pull me out, no luck. Then I called a local off-road shop to see if anyone could help me out and luckily one of their workers was dying to get out of work for a bit so he came to the rescue!

I was with my girl :p and got pulled out by a Jeep! Eeeeee-diot dis guy  oh well, lesson learned.

Parking my truck in the commuter lot at my college. Awesome dings on the side, along with scratches from people's back pack zippers. Unbelievable how disrespectful some of those kids are. Needles to say I park as far away as possible now. No one likes to walk fifteen-twenty minutes to get to class. Except for me! ;)

About a 5 months after I first bought my truck, I was turning around near some railroad tracks and I backed into a lever that switches the track.

    True story.

It made for a humorous 9-1-1 call. I still have the dent in my rear bumper from that little mishap.

Usually where I park is where all the other car guys/gals park as well. Looking into making myself some sliders. Just another thing on the list of mods to do...

I always back in by dividers, middle of parking lot trees, etc.. except this backfired one day.

Not two weeks after having my truck, I was late to morning formation so I was in a hurry, probably driving more aggressively on base than I should have... and when I went to back in next to where the motorcycle spots are, I failed to notice the giant ass telephone pole IN THE PARKING SPACE. I nailed it. At first I was like, oh shit I hit a bike! but then I realized I just busted out my tail light and put a nice dent in the bumper, as a big group of marines sat around pointing and laughing, so I just laughed with em while I cryed on the inside. At least I had a good excuse to buy some new tail lights and blind spot mirrors. Having a shell made backing up a bitch those first few weeks lol

was running around random trails off the highway, finally found a decent trail that went to a deactivated pipeline right-of-way. I was being real careful, getting out to see how wet the ground was, beacause my truck was still totally stock wiht lot tires on it. driving down the right-of-way and I see some water so I stop, start backing up, and my whole truck sinks. Long story short, i got a chev 2500HD company truck stuck, a john deere skidsteer that I knocked the tracks off in the mud, also stuck, and hired a guy with a mini-hoe to pull it all out. my truck was in the mud for 4 days, had to hitchike to town twice. my truck was about 2 months old when this happened, had about 600 KM on it.

I test fit the last pair, they needed some modifications. I should have another pair to test in the next week or two. I will stop by as soon as I have them and test them on your ride.

Yeah, I am only 5 houses down from you same street.

I am up for some mountain trail riding with ya. I just need to find some time.

tried to push over a decent sized tree (3-4") that was in the middle of a trail with my shitty old bull bar. the bar did push it out of the way but the tree destroyed the unprotected part of my bumper. o well, fixed it and now the truck is sold

Rotated my tires, and afterwards noticed a squealing/rubbing noise coming from my front passenger side. Couldn't figure out what was causing it while on the ground so I went to jack it up. When I started to jack it, the tire repositioned itself to the neutral position, because I only hand tightened the lugs

I'm really glad I noticed before me 120 mile drive the next day.

3 weeks after I bought my truck I was in a hurry and started backing out of the garage before the door was all the way up. Scratched my tailgate and the bed above the tail lights as well as popped the plastic pieces on top of the bed sides and tailgate off. I was pretty ticked at myself at the time. 3 weeks after that, i got in the truck hit the garage door button, started her up, put her in reverse but didn't fully push on the brake pedal. It idled backwards and into that dang garage door again. This time it didn't pop the plastic pieces off, but it add new scratches about 3 inches below the first set.
