Agree wranglers are total crap. I've never bought good year tires before and never will again
Garbage will probably go to Michelins LTX
What pierced the sidewall of my brand new 570 mi truck tires was a wooden stick . This$270 twig was found impeded through the inner upper portion of the so caller Kevlar sidewall. Cost me 270 for a new tire and balance. Never again good year garbage. 20220426_194505.jpg[20220426_074006.jpg

I had a near brand new set of OEM Goodyear Wrangler SR-A have one tire get punctured by a very similar tiny twig. I immediately purchased a set of Yokohama Geolander A/T. I have however heard a lot of good things about Duratracs, other than they get loud for an A/T after some wear.

I will replace that OEM good year crap with
    Michelin - Defender LTX M/S stock size 265/70 R16
I've been running them for years on my SUVs and excellent road handling wet traction. Snow traction is ok at least on my Rodeo Sport V6 4wd 5spd MT. They last a long time as well. COSTCO has the best deal on Michelins IMHO once they have their sale + their warranty and service

To be fair, there are two different versions of that tire.
The 'OEM model' that comes on the Tacoma is 37 lbs and made in Canada(758045630).
The other one is 42 lbs and made in the U.S.(758045571).

But yeah, I changed mine out at 200 miles. I was not impressed with the sidewall...felt like I could shove a pencil through it. Looks like I wasn't too far off.

Bacame badass when I bought it.. well.. a little more badass..
It should also be noted that SL versions do not have the same lug spacing as C or E. Comparing mine(SL) to my friends(C) I can easily fit my middle finger in between his outer lugs.. mine? Not even close.. though branded duratracs they look more like ultra terrains.. throwing it out there.. now, mine are 255/75r17(taller and narrower)and his are 265/75r16.. maybe it's that but wouldn't have expected it..

My buddy and I have had Duratracs on our 4Runners for seven years, they’re really really nice tires, we’ve never noticed the tires getting noisy as time goes on.

I actually ended up putting Duratrac’s on my winter wheel set and really happy with them I have K02’s on my summer rims so only use the Duratrac’s 4 months a year but quiet and good in snow when there is snow?? Honestly I think any of the high end AT’s are likely a good tire, just gotta take the plunge and try some :canada:

They are acceptable in West Coast snow, we have slushy wet snow that packs to ice.

Nokian Rotivas I had previous to the Duratracs were amazing in the crappy wet snow.
