    Anyone dealt with this?

If I tap or run the topper’s carpeting/lining it ejects a bunch of white dust and particles. It’s brand new.

We are planning on sleeping in it, but not so sure it’s healthy to breath this shit in?

Best way to get rid of it?

I had stuff from the holes they drilled to mount the rails for my rack.
I vacuumed it and its been fine.

Fiberglass dust from manufacturing and then materials sitting in the shops without proper ventilation and overspray controls in place.

Vacuum the carpet and or use compressed air to blow it all out, (wear goggles and a mask) or drive around with the windows on it open for a week.

Fiberglass dust isn't good to breathe but it's not going to kill you either.
