I have a black truck. I live with it. To me it's not worth scratching the paint, I have enough pin stripes, it's a truck, it's gonna get dirty.

If it's just light dust/pollen with no bug or bird spatter then soak a microfiber cloth with water and wring out.

Then wipe each panel with the damp microfiber followed up with a dry microfiber cloth. Only do one panel at a time. The whole truck can be completed in less than 10 min. Works great on waxed vehicles.

Plans. Lots of Plans. Researching & spoiling myself starting this Fall.
I have new truck jitters still too, I went up to Sedona yesterday for Schnebly Hill Rd first time was a blast cruising through all stock. I don't want scratches and dents too early on but getting dirty is just fine I enjoy washing and looking over stuff.

When I use a synthetic wax spray in between washes; I use a spray bottle to wet the body so its not hose soaked before spraying the detail cleaner, wipe it down & use a second microfiber to dry completely.

I use FK425, and there's only a very small mount of dust.

What i use on my Camaro to keep it clean between applying wax is using Mothers Detail spray and dusting it using California Car Duster

My truck since it has a ceramic coatings easier to maintain . I use Mothers CMX ceramic coating spray and wipe down the paint every 3 months

I like the original California Car Duster. No, you don't lay it flat and rub it hard back and forth all over the vehicle.

You hold it a couple inches over the paint and gently move it across the surface so the yarn strands are lightly swiping the surface. It easily removes dust and won't cause swirls at all when used correctly.

    Been using them for years.

Works great, and does remove the layer of yellow pollen that covers my truck, and bike during those times of year.
