Yeah I think I'm good where I'm at then.. I'm gonna barely have to clearance around the front of the box. There's a little lip of sheet metal sticking out that I'm bumping into so I'll grind it off and clean up the inner fender some..

Really not gonna have to cut anything major out in front of the box along the core support.. That's why I'm kind of skeptical about where I'm at with it. I could really finagle it in without cutting anything.. I'll take some pics to show you

That hydro port can be tapped on the side of the box, but the placement is very crucial. That's why most are tapped in the "O" on the front, like mine, cause it's easy. My friend just moved his port to the side so he could easily push the box forward.

This is my friend's 85 runner, you can see he retapped the box on the side. Keep the pitman tight to the frame so the TRE stays off the spring. I think his axle is 2" forward from factory now like I want

Diff armor and knuckle ball gussets came in.. Already got them halfway welded on. Skipped around on it for awhile till I couldn't weld anymore without welding up to a bead I had laid earlier so now I'm letting it all cool before I go "connect the dots".

Phone broke yesterday so pics later.. Gotta go pick up some wheel studs and a new wire cup

Full hydro would be cool but not yet..

Pure beef. Diff armor and knuckle ball gussets/shock mounts..

This welder is awesome. The bottom knuckle ball gussets is a single piece of steel at least 3/8" thick and I welded it on the 4th of 7 power steps and it penetrated great. It's so awesome. Best investment yet..

Looks good dood. I had clearance issues with my wiper, rings and upper gusset. Test yours before final assembly

Hobart Handler 210 MVP. It's awesome.. It ran for over an hour straight tonight without a hiccup.. Welds nice and hot too..

Hopefully I can throw the knuckles on tonight and I'll deal with the clearance.

The fiancé just "HAD" to go to Olive Garden tonight so now I'm headed there..

I used a dremel with a carbide bit to shave a little off the gusset

Thanks! I'll have to check that out. My wife works for Lincoln so I'm probably going that route though.

I CANNOT find the metal retaining plate that has the slit in it that goes between the felt and rubber seal on the back of the knuckle. I looked all over the shop and I just cannot find it.. Im hoping I can go back tomorrow and it'll be in some box that I overlooked.

I was so close to having the axle together. I had everything laid out and ready to go on all the races and bearing and seals pressed in and I couldn't finish..

I can't find one to buy either.. Send me your old ones Ajohnson :)
