Maybe it's the angle.. doesn't look like it. I think I did 8" per side on mine and my tail lights were above the frame rails

Got the other side cut and all tacked up and rolled the truck out to clean the shop up and snapped a few pics:

I don't have a tailgate lol.. Gotta finish patching up the fenderwells and build a rear bumper..

I went to put my power steering pump on today and I don't have the dang bracket for the pump.. So I'll have to source one this week. Pissed me off. I bought it like two years ago and threw it in a box for later and just got it out today..

Thanks.. It'll look SO much better once I get some tires under it.

A college budget makes tires expensive! I've collected parts for this for over a year. Lol

I vote find a tailgate and cut it up. Really cleans things up. Mine still functioned too

I don't really want the extra weight honestly.. I'm trying to strip as much weight as possible above the axles without taking out glass..

I'm gonna bedlined the inside and build a nice bumper and it'll clean up..

Finished up my rear bumper today.. Need to finish the inside of the bed from the dovetail.. Welding sheetmetal sucks.
