I have a 4 year old Odyssey Group 31 that I wish I had cared for better by doing the alternator mod to put out more volts when I installed it. Bottom line: a few years of never fully recharging it and a number of deep discharges have pretty much killed it. I have a NOCO charger and restorer, but the restore function isnt doing anything that I can tell. Is there a way to restore these batteries successfully? If not, I'd like to replace it with a large non AGM battery. I have a battery cage for the group 31, so I'm hoping theres a similarly sized SLA. Any advice would be appreciated.
