10 Taco TRD OR access cab
PIAA driving lights,Pioneer AVH-P3300BT stereo with HD radio and Axxess steering wheel control adapter, rearview mirror mod,ReTrax rolling cover,Demello front bumper,WeatherTech,10 inch woofer,500 watt amp,CB in armrest, heated Wet Okole seat covers,Spidertrax spacers, ARB twin compressor,Ikon 10,500lb wireless winch,A-pillar RAM mount,Pull-Pal,electric locking tailgate
I purchased the DynoLock to electrically lock my tailgate when I lock my doors.
The directions say, and the DynoLock forums say, to connect to the blue/pink and blue/black wire under the driver's side door sill to connect it to the electric door locks. :):)
The extended cab has no such colored wires.
I called Jim at DynoLock and he says yes, the directions are different for the extended cab, and yes, the directions for the extended cab are not included. He said they want us to route the wires to the driver's side to avoid the heat of the exhaust, and then look under the carpet for the wires heading to the passsenger's door, and there I would find the blue/pink and blue/black wires.
I grabbed the wire bundle heading to the passenger's side, just in front of the driver's seat, and opened it, and guess what? STILL no blue/pink and blue/black wires.
Has ANYONE with an extended cab found the right wires so they can tell me where they are??

    Thanks for any help.:)

What I found was the only place on the extended cab that you can find the blue/pink and blue/black wires is in the upper passenger kick panel.
I spent 2 hours going to the wrong side of the vehicle, so it took me 2 more hours to take out the wiring, put the driver's side back together, then re-wire on the right side of the vehicle to the passenger's kick panel.
Getting the lock mechanism to fit in the tailgate required grinding down a corner of the plastic block holding the locking pin. It does not line up until you grind it down so the pin slides in front of the tailgate handle's mechanism instead of on top of it.
So if you do this with an extended cab, DON'T follow the directions. Go to the passenger's kick panel.
I hope I have saved someone some frustration that I had.
