Ive used similar inertia based apps in smart phones, and they are not as accurate as a dyno. Seems the ones in the Apple Iphone are more consistant.

I had the dynolisicious for the iphone and had it in my wrx when I ran the 1/4 mile and it was very close. It dosent help with reaction time because it uses the phones accelerometer so it starts when you start.

for this app you can either use the accelerometer or manually start it which still isnt 100% but i trust pressin the button over my accelerometer. so the numbers were decently close?

removed front mud flaps, weather-tech floor mats, viper keyless entry. Next is 5100s!!
it uses the GPS to track your speed and distance traveled to calculate 1/4 mile times its pretty cool i used it today. you just need to be able to floor it for a 1/4 mile to use it. tells you your HP, torque, 1/4 mile times, 0-60 its pretty cool and the comments all say that its been tested by people that use their cars on a strip and say its about 80-90% accurate. which is plenty for me to just play with it
