E locker 3rd member help

    I believe the housings are different elock vs non-elock.

    If you want an electric locker, your choice is either (i) replace the entire rear end with a rear end from a TRD Off Road, or (ii) install a Harrop Elocker in the existing differential. East Coast Gear has the Harrop or check out http://gearinstalls.com.

    With either one, you'll need to supply 12v to the diffential.

    I wouldn’t want any Differential that is essentially open while not locked.
    As is the Locker in the O/R, you’ll be worse off than what you have now.
    Auto-LSD wasn’t introduced until 09’


    I’d rather go with a “lunchbox” style locker.

    FWIW, I do have the Open Diff Non-AutoLSD.
    Traction is less than the Sport models, until I’m locked.
